Pokemon Go Book Tag

I love book tags, because I can fangirl about my favorites (and least favorites) without having to share long a difficult reviews, so when I read Kay’s post I immediately bookmarked it, because I knew I had to do this tag as well sooner or later!

Nobody actually tagged me, but I think that Aentee of Read at Midnight  did a great job creating it, so I couldn’t resist!

This is a bit hard since I never liked classics (I know!), but I think that we can consider Tolkien’s work a classic, so I’d say The Lord of the Rings.

Oh gosh so many great memories! I’m italian, so you won’t probably know this book, but the Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye by Geronimo Stilton was THE book that started everything (I own the very first edition from the ’90s), I hated reading before discovering this series and my mom was very worried about that. Now she’s worried that I read too much, haha.

Please don’t hate me, but I don’t have any interest to read Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas right now. It looked like something I would enjoy reading, but bookstagram went so crazy for this series that now I’m tired of seeing the covers everywhere!

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert just didn’t reach my expectations. It looked like a mix of extremely common sentences and concepts, like she picked up from all the most famous self-help books and put them together with her own personal life adventures.

The History of Middle-earth, I actually read the first two books since I already own them, but I still have to read the others. One of my biggest disappointments is that they didn’t make a digital version of them and purchasing the whole series is going to be a bit expensive for me.

Honestly I can’t reply, since I avoid like plague scary books!

I would go with the boring and standard reply: Ron and Hermione. I never liked the idea of Harry and Hermione together, as many people on the internet seems to appreciate, they are just perfect as friends, in my opinion.

Angels & Demons by Dan Brown is such an incredible book with an amazing story and it’s basically a whole race against time. I couldn’t put the book down!

That’s a hard question to answer, since I am a big believer that when a series is good, it has to end. Despite my ginormous love for Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, I wouldn’t enjoy more books about them nor spin-offs!

I’m not actually excited for any debut novels at the time, but I can’t wait to read the last book by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling), Career of Evil, which was published only in June here in Italy.

If JRR Tolkien was alive, I would totally say him. But I can’t, so my choice goes to Dan Brown!

The Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab is basically everywhere on social media, but I’m still excited to start it. I actually bought the first book during a sale on Amazon Kindle and I’m just waiting for the arrival of autumn to start reading it.

I’d say Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but it would be a lie since I don’t even know if I’m going to read this book or not. I have this huge stack of books to read right now, that I’m not waiting anything, I’m more excited for some upcoming movies!

Not a recent one, but I loved the books from the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith. I was afraid of reading them, since I’ve been super disappointed by Rowling’s other book, The Casual Vacancy, I didn’t even finish it! Fortunately this series turned out even better than I expected.

I’d love to own a couple of editions of The Hobbit, the one illustrated by Jemima Catlin and the one with the replica of the original cover made for the 75th anniversary!

That’s a wrap! I am not going to tag anyone in particular, but feel free to join the party and do the tag on your own blogs/channels, be sure to link to the original post and let me know if you’ll do it, I’d love to read your answers! 🙂
